Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the notion “mental activity”, and the criteria for its evaluation in adolescents with cancer of the hematopoietic system. A symbolic connection of blood and vital energy is revealed; it became the basis for art-therapeutic work with adolescents. The results of studying the mental activity in the group of adolescents under consideration are presented: in the course of treatment art-therapeutic methods of active imagination were used aimed at involving internal resources.
