APPLICATION OF TRANSLATION TRANSFORMATIONS WHEN TRANSLATING GEODESIC TEXT

Abstract. The article analyzes the application of translation transformations in the translation of the English-language scientific text on geodesic subject. The author undertakes an attempt to systematize the most relevant translation techniques. Attention is paid to the peculiarities of preserving the equivalence when translating a text written in scientific style from the English language. The ways of achieving equivalence in the language of translation in the written monologic speech are studied.
