Abstract.
Siberian Metallurgical Institute as well as many other higher educational establishments of the country having long history can become the criterion determining the quality of conducted reforms under the conditions of higher school transformation. The analysis of the process of advanced training in the first technical higher educational establishment of Kuznetsk Basin is presented in the article.
