PROVINCIAL LAWYERS OF THE FIRST DECADE OF SOVIET RULE

Abstract. In the article the social-cultural image of a provincial lawyer is presented on the basis of archival documents. The author pays special attention to the fact that the change of institutions of justice role after the judicial reform of 1922 lead to the numerical increase of their cadre and to the decrease of such qualitative rates as scholarship and professional experience.
