Abstract.
The article is devoted to the editions and versions of Claude-Achille Debussy's etudes for piano. The author pays special attention to the analysis of editors' approaches to musical text, to its comparing with preserved and published Debussy's manuscripts and outlines the ways and perspectives of further etudes editing basing on the mastery experience of outstanding modern pianists. The author for the first time presents vast musical and theoretical material which was not published in our country before.
