Abstract.
The author formulates the basic international-legal approaches designated by the norms of Geneva law in respect to the mechanisms of forced migrants' protection under the conditions of military operations and pays special attention to the specific legal position of the refugees and persons seeking shelter within the territory of combatants and to the problems of the internment and realization of the principles of international humanitarian law in relation to such persons.
