Abstract. Language plays important role in information transfer and keeping being the necessary condition of culture and civilization existence. The authors pay special attention to the language as the instrument of historical reality cognition, particularly, they analyze the problem of the possibility of the reconstruction of the scientific picture of people's historical development on the basis of revealing the Russian language peculiarities and the comparative-historical analysis of other languages.
