Abstract.
The article is devoted to the little-studied problems of Kapp Putsch history: the confrontation of official and non-official armed forces against the background of the political crisis of March 1920, the neutral position of high military officials of Weimar Republic, the contradictions of military men and social democrats concerning the views on the political and military state mechanism.
