Abstract.
The author analyzes the culturological ideas of the writer-symbolist and philosopher Andrei Belyi in the 1920s: philosophy and phenomenology of culture, the interpretation of the notions culture and civilization, the methods of culture research and pays special attention to the problem of the approaches correlation to understanding the crisis of culture in A. Belyi and O. Spengler's works.
