Abstract.
The author performs the comparative analysis of the views of Islamism prominent ideologues Maududi and Qutb on Islamic state, its properties and methods of building, demonstrates the similarities and differences of the above mentioned thinkers' theoretical models and pays special attention to the problem of Islamic state and democracy correlation.
