Abstract.
The author reveals the mental-mediated level possibilities of interdisciplinary connections, shows that the skills obtained in the process of classical disciplines learning at a technical higher education institution are vital in professional-technical disciplines learning and considers graduates' character, culture and spirit formation as the most important conceptual result of the organization of interdisciplinary connections at classical departments and classical departments connections with general engineering departments and profiling departments.
