Abstract.
The author reveals the main sources groups on the problem of civil aviation development in Western Siberia of the second half of the ХХth century, reposited in the central archives of the Russian Federation, pays special attention to the critical analysis of SARF (State Archive of the Russian Federation) and RSAE (Russian State Archive of Economy) funds materials and gives the detailed description of the funds and information stored there.
