WEDDING CEREMONIES AND ACCOMPANYING MUSIC OF NORTH CAUCASIAN NOGAIS

Abstract. The author considers wedding rites and accompanying music which were typical of the Nogai sub-ethnic groups of North Caucasus, and pays special attention to the wedding songs that were created under the influence of neighboring alien ethnic cultures, their genre specific features and present state.
