STATE INSTITUTIONS WITHIN KITAI-GOROD IN THE XVITH - THE BEGINNING OF THE XVIIITH CENTURY

Abstract.
The author considers the territorial location of state institutions in Moscow of the XVIth - the beginning of the XVIIIth century, conducts the analysis of functions distribution between two main administrative centers of Moscow - the Kremlin and Kitai-Gorod, and comes to the conclusion about the gradual increase of Kitai-Gorod significance as an administrative center, which was conditioned by the complexity of state apparatus, as well as the influence of this circumstance on district social structure.
