Abstract.
Modern scientific discourse has continued to operate with the understanding of state modernization within the framework of modernization classical theory. However, the complex of empirical and theoretical tendencies affords the ground for the description of modernization as a separate and heterogeneous phenomenon. The author analyzes different types of modernization, and determines their structural, procedural and communicative features.
