Abstract.
The author considers the problems associated with strategic security enforcement within the European Region in the process of the European ballistic missile defence deployment, tells that the object of this study is the European ballistic missile defence system, shows that the aims of the article are focused on the identification of the positive and negative aspects of the European ballistic missile defence influence on the protection of the European states, as well as revealing its contradictions in political and strategic aspects, and determines the specific features of the relations between Russia, Europe and the United States on security issues.
