LUMINISM OF ANTIQUITY URBAN POLYCHROMY

Abstract.
The author analyzes polychromy structure in ancient cities space, considers the principles of the assessment of certain colours significance in ancient tradition, analyzes the influence of special attitude to light on the forms of colour environment organization in ancient cities, reveals and describes the characteristic features of the implementation of the idea of luminism in the colour design of the interior and exterior of architectural buildings facades in the urban spaces of Antiquity.
