Abstract.
The author considers the problem of woman's education development in Ossetia in the process of the Russian-Ossetian cultural interaction during the post-reform period of modernization that resulted in the transformation of the Ossetians' traditional mentality and their reorientation to new cultural values, studies the influence of intercultural interaction processes on the formation and development of the demand for educated women in the traditional Ossetian society, and pays particular attention to the activity of national intelligentsia, who became the devotee of scholarship spreading idea among the Ossetian women as the essential condition of healthy cultural society.
