ECOLOGICAL ASPECT IN IDEOLOGY AND PRACTICE OF AMERICAN NEO-PAGANISM

Abstract. The author considers ecological component in the philosophy of modern American neo-pagan groups, analyzes the reasons of ecological questions high significance for this cultural-religious movement, studies the various sources of neo-pagan environmentalism, pays particular attention to those ways of ecological problems solution, which are offered by neo-pagans, and determines the correlation between a neo-pagan's gender status and his (her) position on an ecological problem.
