Abstract.
The authors reveal the content of supra-ethnic identity, present the characteristics of its forms, dynamics and the levels of development, pay special attention to the characteristics of the historical conditions of supra-ethnic identity forms transformation in Southern Siberia (Khakassia, Tuva) and the prospects of the reference to inter-ethnic interaction experience as a resource in the formation process of civil general cultural integration foundations, and by the example of the republics of Southern Siberia, analyze the transformation process of supra-ethnic identity under the conditions of the USSR collapse and the formation of new regional political systems, where one of the characteristics is post-soviet ethnic identity formation.
