Abstract. The author considers Hegel’s interpretation of the Christian idea about God as Trinity. According to Hegel, God, understood in his nature as spirit, is revealed in three different forms of his being: universal, special, and single, through which he actualizes himself not just as substance, but as absolute subject that is identical with himself in his contrast to himself.
