PROBLEMS OF VICTIM’S PARTICIPATION IN JUDICIAL INVESTIGATION IN CRIMINAL PROCEDURE OF RUSSIA

Abstract.
The author considers the victim’s legal status at the stage of judicial investigation, studies the problem of ensuring victims’ rights and legitimate interests at the trial stage of criminal procedure, as well as the features of the private prosecutor’s procedural status within judicial investigation on private prosecution cases, researches the role of the court (judge) while the victim’s rights realizing at the considered stage of judicial proceedings, and pays considerable attention to the problem of the unilateral withdrawal of charges by the public prosecutor without taking into account the victim’s opinion.
