Abstract.
The author considers the development of labour safety at the mining enterprises of Magadan economic council by specific-historical material for the first time in historiography, pays special attention to the analysis of work against traumatism and occupational diseases, and also researches the main problems, which were encountered during the process of the transition of labour safety at mines and placers of Kolyma and Chukotka to a higher qualitative level.
