THE RUSSIAN-TATAR RELATIONS PROBLEM IN THE TATAR HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE END OF THE XIX TH – THE BEGINNING OF THE XX TH CENTURY

Abstract. The author considers the features of covering the Russian-Tatar relations by the Tatar historians of the end of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, reveals the informational-analytical activity of the censorship and its special attention to historical works, and presents the overview of little-known sources - popular editions and publications in the time press dedicated to the centennial of the Patriotic War of 1812, and the tercentenary of the Romanov dynasty, which authors, showing the community of the Russians and Tatars’ historical destiny, substantiated the thesis of “equal rights in general Fatherland”.
