Abstract.
Law and morality have significant differences. However, they share common features: the rules of social life that arise in people’s consciousness and conform to a certain type of culture are aimed at social relations regulation. The author presents the results of the analysis of the main aspects of the correlation between morality and law in the system of social reality, and also considers the general directions of the interaction between moral and legal norms as the factors regulating human activity under the conditions of modern society.
