Abstract.
The author analyzes the objective evidence of persistent evasion of child support payment, mentions that criminal cases for alimony are among the most common of the elements included in chapter 20 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and in this connection pays special attention to the problems of increasing the effectiveness of existing legislative acts governing alimony obligations, the resolution of which depends directly on the material interests of vulnerable social group.
