SOME FEATURES OF HERMENEUTIC AND POSITIVIST APPROACHES CONTRASTING AND CULTUROLOGICAL RESEARCH OBJECT

Abstract. The author reveals the key point of the discussion about hermeneutic and positivist approaches in culturology, ascertains that the notion of the object of science about culture and the method of its formation are in the center of the controversy, and comes to the conclusion about the possibility of the replacement of the a priori abstract method of object construction with the analysis of the process of culturological researches specific objects formation aimed at identifying the specific texture of culturological knowledge.
