Abstract.
The article considers the main problems of military discipline in Irkutsk Military Aircraft Technicians’ School during the early years of its existence. The author identifies the main types of misconduct in the flying school during that period and their reasons. Basing on the analysis of archival documents the conclusion is made that the command of the school did not pay enough attention to the education of non-permanent personnel and, most importantly, permanent personnel. According to the author such difficult situation with order was typical of the Red Army as a whole during the period under review.
