HISTORICAL DISCOURSE IN CONTEXT OF INTERNATIONAL TOURIST ROUTE “GREAT VOLGA WAY”

Abstract.
For the first time the article presents the historical-theoretical substantiation for the recreational content of the ethnographic complex “Amazonia” included into the project of the organization of the international tourist route “Great Volga Way” in accordance with the federal goal-oriented programme on the development of domestic tourism. This innovative work initiates the formation of the conception for creating the historical-ethnographic complex within the framework of the project “Ethnic Chuvashia” of the Ministry of Culture of Russia representing the most vivid episodes in the development and civilizational interaction between the peoples of Russia. The article presents the generalization of the large corpus of publications on the history of the anthropology of “Amazons”.
