Abstract.
The article analyzes the problems and prospects of modern Russia party-political system development in the context of the social-cultural transformation of society. The author ascertains the existence of party-political system permanent crisis, which is conditioned by the low level of trust in political parties on the part of the population, the underestimation of their role and significance in the management of social processes on the part of the state, the ongoing process of mass consciousness deideologization and a number of other reasons.
