Abstract.
The article researches the peculiarities of the North Ossetian literary community functioning under the conditions of political and ideological dictatorship intensification in the cultural life of the country during the post-war decade. The nature of the relationships between authorities and the creative personality and the role of the regional branch of Writers’ Union in the implementation of ideological control over writers are analyzed, and the methods of dissidence suppression in creative environment are ascertained.
