Abstract. The article is devoted to the theme of Omsk Military Aviation School of Pilots creation and development – one of the first Air Forces schools that trained flying personnel in Siberia. The problems of recruitment with constant and variable staff, material support and educational process organization are considered. On the basis of archival sources analysis the author reveals the peculiarities of the Aviation School formation.
