ECOLOGICAL APPROACH TO MODELING SOCIAL-HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY

Abstract. The article presents the author’s model of society social-historical development. It complements the existing macrosociological models introducing ecological dimension in them. The model covers the period of human development since its entry into civilized state. This transition marked the beginning of the systematic transformation of nature paving the way for social-ecological transformations. Basing on twelve analytical categories the author presents the comparative analysis of three historical types of social-ecological systems selected by her.
