MILITARY DIPLOMACY OF USSR WITH WEST COUNTRIES AS TO NAVY ARMS AND EQUIPMENT IN 1936-1941

Abstract. In the article the main directions of the diplomatic collaboration of the leading world naval powers are presented. The USSR leaders signed the memorandum on reduction in navy arms though not all the states accepted the conditions of London Naval Treaty (1936). But expecting the Second World War many naval powers, which signed the memorandum and as well as those, which didn’t participate in its discussion, abandoned the agreement basic points while realizing their programs of army shipbuilding.
