TIN-AND-TUNGSTEN INDUSTRY IN NORTH-EAST OF RUSSIA IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1970S: FIVE-YEAR PLAN OF RECORDS

Abstract.
The article considers the development dynamics of the tin-and-tungsten sector of mining industry in the North-East of Russia during the ninth five-year plan (1971-1975). In this period “Severovostokzoloto” association, besides the record of gold mining, reached the maximum indexes on tin and tungsten mining. The author studied the factors, which facilitated the record achievements and restrained the development rates of tin-and-tungsten industry. Special attention is given to the development of prospecting tin mining, the work with personnel, the problems related to labor protection, living sphere and affecting the region ecology.
