Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the value interaction of law and justice in legal awareness. The author considers the basic principles of law system as the aspects of its justice, addresses the experience of investigating the essence of law by pre-revolutionary philosophers and makes a conclusion about the necessity for the correspondence of the established positive law to the moral and ethical or religious regulators of behaviour with a view to impart the nature of legitimacy to positive law, that is to substantiate its justice in legal awareness.
