DUAL-USE TECHNOLOGIES: CONCEPTION AND FORMS OF TRANSFER

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of a developing institution in international relations - dual-use technologies (DUT) and the forms of their transfer. Special attention is paid to the reasons of the origin of this institution, and also to the tasks, which are solved by using it in modern scientific and technical cooperation. The author concludes that the role and place of the investigated institution have recently undergone some changes, and it often becomes an instrument of foreign policy relations.
