“ANTISMOKING” LAW AS TOOL OF MATERNITY, CHILDHOOD AND FAMILY PROTECTION

Abstract. In the article the regulations of the Federal Law “On Protection of Citizens’ Health from Influence of Surrounding Tobacco Smoke and Consequences of Tobacco Use” in the aspect of its impact on the system of maternity, childhood and family protection, in particular, from the negative influence of tobacco on the life and health of children and pregnant women are considered. The author reveals insufficiently defined statutory wordings and deficiencies in these relations settlement and makes concrete suggestions concerning the elimination of the revealed defects and deficiencies.
