PECULIARITIES OF LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITY IN CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract.
In the article the global processes of the present as the basis of the notion “cultural industry” are considered. The author introduces a general philosophical notion of leisure time as an internal personal necessity of action, which is determinated by the system of life values. The influence of globalization on the understanding of leisure-time activity through the analysis of the axiological characteristics of the dichotomy “work - leisure time” is revealed, the impact of the post-modernist conception of consumption on the content of leisure time activity is shown.
