Abstract.
The article deals with relationship between the French Christian democrats and socialists after the Second World War. The author analyzes the political and ideological problems of the relations, the aspects of cooperation and conflict that influenced the development of political situation in France in the first years of the Fourth Republic. The article is based on unpublished archival materials.
