Abstract. In the article the author examines a political theory of sets by P. Virno, which describes modern society and modern political system in the context of the dialectic interaction of “integral” and “multiple”. The social and philosophical meaning of this theory manifests itself in a special form of the organization of modern society that includes the elements of collective and private, and it determines a special type of social administration and a type of authoritative relations.
