POLICY OF “NEW DEAL” OF FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION

Abstract. The article considers the first and most controversial measures taken to combat the Great Depression in the sphere of money turnover and industry. The sequential logic of decisions made at the beginning of the implementation of the “New Deal” of Franklin D. Roosevelt is interpreted. The author reveals both positive and negative aspects of the measures taken to restore banking and industrial sectors at the initial stage of the policy of “New Deal”.
