Abstract.
The article shows that in our times mass culture is transformed in the aspect of its spiritual potential growth. The authors focus attention on the confirmation of the system of education with its intention of strengthening the social and cultural identity of the subject; on constituting the human being as a creator of his/her own world of meanings and values under the influence of the post-structuralist ideas of the author’s death; on the thematization of the Internet space leading to the formation of own existence, and other mechanisms of spirituality growth in mass culture.
