CHANGES IN ORGANIZATIONAL AND STAFF STRUCTURE OF ARTILLERY UNDER THE GENERAL FELDZEUGMEISTER PETR IVANOVICH SHUVALOV

Abstract. The article aims to examine the organizational and staff structure of artillery and engineering corps adopted in 1757. On the basis of the analysis of archival and other sources the author clarified issues associated with the personnel and organizational and staff structure of artillery and engineering corps and their structural divisions. The paper shows changes in the number of the staff and equipment of artillery in accordance with the organizational and staff structure of artillery of 1746 and 1757. The article also introduces archival and other sources, which have not been previously published, into scientific circulation.
