PROBLEM OF THE OTHER IN MODERN PHILOSOPHY

Abstract.
In the article the historical and philosophical review of the problem of the Other is given. The author aims at showing one of the lines of the development of the problem of the Other starting from the criticism of classical transcendentalism by Heidegger and finishing with Lacan’s structural psychoanalysis. Special attention is paid to the clarification of transition from the dominating in classical philosophy subject-object epistemological purpose to the problem of intersubjective relations, from epistemological subjectivity to being-in-the-world having corporal and linguistic dimensions.
