ACTUALIZATION OF NOTIONS “CONCEPT” AND “CONCEPTUAL FIELD” IN METHODOLOGY OF HISTORICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCHES

Abstract.
The authors of the article pay particular attention to the notion “concept” and the methodological possibilities of its application in the field of historical and philosophical knowledge. The history of the notion “concept” goes back to the philosophical tradition of the Middle Ages, but in the present it takes on new meanings, which are often recorded in linguistics and the science of language. The paper proposes to reveal the notion “concept” taking into account its primary definition, and to actualize it in the research field of the history of philosophy that discovers the possibility of its non-linear interpretation.
