Abstract. The article is devoted to the adaptation of the federal institutions of political mission in Germany to the conditions of European integration. The author pays particular attention to the activity of the Bundestag and the Bundesrat in European issues, as well as changes in German legislation as a result of coming into force of the Treaty on the European Union.
