Abstract.
The author considers the problem of justice without the state intervention in historical and philosophical context, studies the search for the paradigm of supreme court and supreme justice, the phenomenon of duel as a means of the quick and fair resolution of the interpersonal conflict in the sphere of relations on the protection of honour and dignity, as a protest against the state interference in private life, evaluates the problem of relations between the state and the individual with respect to justice, and mentions the feature of Russian duel and the importance of honour as the Russian nobleman’s world outlook.
