POLITICAL RHETORIC OF A. LIEBERMAN ON THE MIDDLE EAST: FROM THE CONCEPTION “CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS” TO “RAPPROCHEMENT WITH THE ARAB WORLD”

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the conceptions of the foreign policy of the State of Israel in the Middle East region. Its main purpose is to show the presence of variation in the Middle East policy of the State of Israel by the example of the political rhetoric of the head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs A. Lieberman. The authors aim at tracing the dynamics and possible prospects of the use in the rhetoric of the official Israeli representative of such conceptions as “clash of civilizations” and “rapprochement with the Arab world”. This research can be useful for understanding the logic and practice of the modern foreign policy of Israel in the Middle East.
