GENERALIZED MODEL OF “GEOPOLITICAL TRIANGLE”

Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the concept “geopolitical triangle”. The author identifies two basic qualitatively different interpretations: positional triangle and triangle of interaction. As for the first one, the researcher briefly summarizes its basic types. The model of the second triangle is analyzed in detail on the basis of L. Dittmer’s conception. The paper proposes to differentiate the coalitional and competitive model logics of the functioning of geopolitical triangles.
